The real problem
You're doing the work. The results aren't matching.
You're posting. Sending emails. Investing in your brand, your website, your DTC strategy. Showing up the way you're supposed to show up.
And your wine is good. Your story is real.
So why does it still feel like your business should be performing better than it is?
— Rob McMillan, SVB 2026 State of the US Wine Industry Report
This frustration is not imagined. A lot of wine brands are putting in real effort right now and seeing softer results than they expect.
The problem is rarely that you need to do more. More often, there is a disconnect between how your brand is being presented, what today's customer actually cares about, and what makes someone move from passive interest to a real purchase.
Consumer behavior has shifted in ways that have made the old playbook genuinely less effective. The explanations, the tradition, the beautifully produced content that used to carry weight — it no longer does. Most wine brands haven't caught up yet.
That disconnect — and exactly how to close it — is what this workshop is about.
Is this for you?
This workshop is for you if:
- You feel like your brand should be selling better than it is, and you can't fully explain why it isn't
- Your marketing looks fine on paper, but it is not translating into enough demand
- You are posting, emailing, promoting — and the response still feels underwhelming
- Consumers seem harder to reach and harder to convert than they used to be
- You know something is off, but you are not fully sure what
- You are exhausted from doing everything you are supposed to do and not seeing the payoff
- You are a one-person show or a small team doing your best with limited time and no clear roadmap for what to prioritize
What we'll cover
60 minutes. Six things you'll walk away knowing.
What wine clubs that are succeeding in 2026 are doing differently — and why most are leaving retention on the table
How to connect with a younger generation of consumers who engage with wine on completely different terms
The reality of DTC in 2026 — what the data actually says, and what that means for your strategy right now
The systems you must have in place to compete today — and how to stop wasting time on ones that no longer move the needle
The mindset of wineries that are winning right now — and the one shift that separates them from everyone else
Where you're wasting your marketing budget — and exactly where to redirect it for better returns
The marketing landscape has never had more tools, more platforms, or more noise. This session cuts through it — so you know exactly what to prioritize and what to ignore.
What you'll leave with
You'll leave knowing exactly what to fix and where to focus.
Most wine brands are not failing because of bad wine or bad intentions. They're failing because they don't know what they don't know. There are more tools, more platforms, and more advice than ever — and zero clarity on what actually matters. This session gives you that clarity. You'll walk away with a sharp, specific understanding of what's working in 2026, what to stop doing, and what to do first thing Monday morning.

Molly Bossardt
Molly Bossardt has been working in digital marketing since 2013 and spent the last four years working exclusively with wine industry clients. She founded Bread & Butter Digital Marketing in 2020 after spending years in DTC marketing, brand strategy, and digital advertising across luxury goods, real estate, and the arts in New York City and London.
She holds a Master's in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art and brings an unusual combination of academic rigour and scrappy startup instincts to wine marketing. Her work has generated over $120,000 in revenue for a single winery in a four-month period, with a return on ad spend of 10.44x at its peak and a cost per lead of $1.88.
She has presented at the Unified Grape & Wine Symposium and has built one of the most engaged wine marketing audiences on LinkedIn. This workshop comes directly from what she sees breaking down for wine brands every day, and what the ones that are winning are doing differently.
Questions
A few things people ask
Will there be a recording?
Yes. Everyone who registers gets the full recording — whether you attend live or not.
Who exactly is this for?
Winery owners, marketing managers, DTC directors, tasting room managers, wine educators, and anyone in the wine industry responsible for how their brand shows up and sells online.
I'm already doing a lot of marketing. Is this still relevant?
Especially then. This session is built for brands that are already showing up but not seeing the results they expect. The problem is almost never volume — it's the disconnect in the message.
What if I can't attend live?
Register anyway. You'll get the full recording and any materials shared during the session within 24 hours.
What's the VIP private session?
A 30-minute private strategy call with Molly where we apply the workshop framework directly to your brand. Workshop attendees get it at a discount, $125 instead of $150. Only a few spots available.
We are a small family winery with a tiny team. Is this relevant for us?
This is especially for you. Small family wineries are often doing everything right in the cellar and struggling to translate that into consistent sales and visibility online. This session will help you understand what actually moves the needle so you are not wasting time or money on things that do not.
I am a marketing manager and I feel like I am doing this largely on my own. Will I get value from this?
Yes, and you are not alone in that feeling. A lot of wine marketing managers are working in isolation, without a team to gut-check ideas or a clear framework for what to prioritize. This session is designed to give you that clarity, along with language you can take back to ownership to explain why certain things need to change.
If your marketing isn't producing the results your wine deserves, this is the session to attend.
